Pre-alpha 1.9

This version adds some more minor under-the-hood performance improvements that are actually part of a refactoring of the game's internal logic.

You can also now press P to pause/unpause the game.

I'm planning to add game controller support in the next couple of builds, which should make it easier for future playtesters.
